Now. This is a Word document template that automatically
installs several powerful Word macros directly into the
Word "Tools" menu. The macros that it installs
automate the process of creating bar codes using B-Coder
Pro from within Word. The macros can be used to generate
bar code labels, convert selected text to a bar code,
prompt the user for a bar code message and then automatically
insert the bar code into a document or search through
a document and change any text formatted with a special
Bar Code style from text into a bar code. Requires
B-Coder Professional Edition/Demo 3.0 or later.
This is a fantastic add on to B-Coder Pro if you are
a Word user.

While the B-Coder v4.0 demo includes the
Word 97/2000/XP Macro installer, these macros are updated
from time to time. Check back regularly to download updated
macros.

Now. Fully automate bar code generation in Microsoft
Access. This example database shows several techniques
including how to fill up a table with bar codes in a
single operation as well as insert bar codes one at a
time in a table. It also shows how to print reports and
labels containing bar codes.
This file is an excellent demonstration of
how to create and print bar codes in Access using
B-Coder. This database requires either the professional edition of B-Coder
or the demo version listed above.
N.B. While it is possible to use B-Coder
with Access, it is much easier and more efficient to use
our ActiveX
Control. B-Coder uses macros to copy and paste barcode
images into an OLE field in your table. This means that
your database grows in size and that if you modify the
data in your table you must rerun the macros to update
the images. Furthermore, since the VBA macros must be modified
to work with the fields in your database, many inexperienced
Access users have trouble setting it up. The ActiveX control
does not require any code and can be added to a form or
report in Access just like a textbox control, simply set
the Control Source Property of the control to a field in
a table or query, then run your form or report. That's
all there is to it! The ActiveX control even comes with
it's own sample Microsoft Access database.

When used in conjunction with BC-Wedge or WinWedge this
allows you to add to, remove from and look up products
just by scanning a bar code (Keyboard Wedge interface,
and manual data entry also supported)

Please Note: ImageWiz is a 16 bit
application. While it will run trouble-free on 32 bit versions
of Windows you will not be able to save the images with
long filenames (though you can of course rename the files
after they have been created.)
Note: With
the Exception of ImageWiz, all of the files listed above
contain macros. You
must enable the macros in your Office Application in
order to use them. A small number of virus
protection programs may erroneously report that these
files contain viruses and thus may warn you of imminent
danger if you install them on your computer. Please rest
assured that these files are perfectly safe to install
on your computer. In fact, all files on our web site
have been thoroughly checked for viruses before being
made available for download. If your anti-virus software
presents a warning about any files downloaded from this
web site and you would like to discuss this with one
of our engineers, please call 215-496-0202 or email: support@taltech.com. |
